It's working. Pleased, Jade gives a light, subtle flick of the tip of his wand, and the flames part to let him through to the center of the circle. He steps in with no hesitation, trusting his abilities.

A few tendrils of flame rear and hiss at Professor Rammsteiner, but Jade recalls them with a small gesture of his wand, bringing them back to heel.

"This should be enough for the task," he says, putting the flames out. Of course, there will be much more Fiendfyre in the task, but theoretically, he'd be able to apply the same principles to come out on top.
