Something had blown up in his face before (and all around him - a whole building, in fact), but Jade doesn't mention it. Doesn't even react to it much, even, aside from looking at Professor Rammsteiner a little more intently.

Not that the Professor is looking at him. He doesn't seem very interested in administering this detention. Maybe he'll get to leave early after all. Jade shifts his gaze away as well, looking around the room.

"It worked fine," he says, matter-of-fact. Abruptly, he changes the topic. "So, what are you going to make me do?"

He'd like to get this over with as soon as he can.
