What the hell? Jade—Heine flushes dully and pulls the robe tighter around himself, stepping back. He looks over at where Jade is, halfway between angry and just confused.
"I don't know," he ends up saying. Professor Eichel raises his eyebrows, looking away from the point in the air where Heine's gaze was.
"Why don't you come inside, anyway?" He opens the door a little wider.
Heine shifts uncomfortably, suddenly aware of the cold stones under his bare feet and the scent of Professor Eichel, just a few feet away. He doesn't know how or why, but he's sure he can actually smell him, and there's a warmth growing in his stomach in response (and a faint memory that makes it worse). After a pause he follows Eichel inside.
