Despite his efforts the tentacles show no sign of letting go. The ovipositor continues pushing egg after egg into Jade while the ones holding his ankles tighten, gripping him firmly in place. The more he thrashes, the harder they hold on to him. The tentacles at his entrance start forcing their way in, hooking slightly to keep him from pulling away.

Heine is struggling to even breathe. But he sees Jade, and dread and confusion flood his mind. This time, however, he doesn't act on it. His body is too hot, too overrun by sensation. He stays limp in the tentacles, eyelids fluttering as the slick's effects take over his mind.
